About The Position

The Multilingual (ML) Student Success Specialist supports culturally and linguistically diverse students and families to ensure student success. The position works independently to maintain caseloads of students/families by coordinating resources, collaborating with staff, and building positive professional relationships. One of the key outcomes for this role is increased graduation rates for ML students in the school district. Additionally, this position uses bilingual/multilingual and English proficiency with students/families as needed to perform essential duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university in education, human services or other related fields.
At least one (1) year of work experience with mentoring students.
Bilingual/multilingual proficiency is required.
All certificates, transcripts, or degrees completed outside of the U.S.A or Canada must be evaluated by a member from the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
The final evaluation report must confirm education equivalent to a minimum two years of college-level credit or a degree (AA, BA, MA) from an accredited college in the United States.
