About The Position
We are running a paid study focused on sourcing multilingual documents to enhance AI text recognition and generation capabilities. The project requires high-quality, legally usable PDF documents in various languages to train machine learning models. Contributors will work asynchronously to find and submit public, legally usable PDF documents in their designated language, ensuring they meet quality and licensing requirements. Submissions will be uploaded through a secure platform with basic metadata, and reviewed for compliance with project guidelines.
Requirements
- Fluent reading comprehension in Telugu, Odia, Gujarati, Malayalam, Japanese, or Korean
- Comfortable searching for and downloading digital documents online
- Basic understanding of public domain or open-source licensing
- Access to a reliable computer and internet connection for uploading files
