About The Position

The Multidisciplinary Designer creates compelling visual work across campaigns, social media, digital platforms, print, merchandise, and in-arena experiences. This is a graphic-design-led role for a versatile designer with strong fundamentals in typography, composition, color, and visual storytelling, as well as the ability to bring ideas to life through animation and motion design. The ideal candidate can translate creative direction into polished, cohesive executions across a variety of formats and extend static design systems into motion. Motion design is an important component of this position but is not its sole focus.

Requirements

• Two to four years of professional design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic design, typography, layout, composition, color, and visual storytelling.
• Demonstrated ability to translate creative direction into polished, cohesive executions across multiple platforms.
• Experience designing for social media, digital, print, merchandise, environmental, or experiential applications.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, with portfolio examples demonstrating animation and motion-design capabilities.
• Strong understanding of motion principles, including timing, pacing, easing, hierarchy, and visual rhythm.
• Ability to thoughtfully extend static designs into motion.
• Strong production skills, including file organization, versioning, image preparation, and final asset delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.
• Interest in sports, entertainment, culture, and contemporary design.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in sports, entertainment, lifestyle, agency, or another consumer-facing environment.
• Experience designing for large-format displays, venue screens, ribbon boards, or live-event environments.
• Experience creating reusable design and motion templates for editors, producers, or social media teams.
• Experience designing for merchandise, apparel, or environmental applications.
• Familiarity with print production, large-format graphics, and final asset preparation.
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and basic video-editing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, digital platforms, print materials, merchandise, and in-arena experiences.
• Translate creative direction and established brand systems into polished, cohesive designs across multiple platforms and formats.
• Extend static concepts and campaign systems into engaging motion graphics and animated content.
• Animate typography, graphic elements, transitions, and campaign assets for social, digital, and in-arena use.
• Design for a variety of formats, aspect ratios, resolutions, and display environments, including venue screens and ribbon boards.
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, content, social media, partnership, and other internal teams to support organizational priorities.
• Prepare production-ready files and final assets for digital, print, merchandise, environmental, and live-event applications.
• Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Maintain organized project files, version control, and consistent asset-delivery practices.
• Stay current on trends and emerging practices across design, motion, sports, entertainment, and culture.
