Multidisciplinary Creative (Maker)

About The Position

We're looking for a Maker: a true multi-hyphenate creative who works across disciplines rather than inside just one. This isn't a traditional single-lane design or motion role. The ideal candidate might come up as a designer, an editor, a photographer, or a motion artist, but what defines them is a versatile toolbox: they shoot, they edit, they collage, they animate, and they move fluidly between mediums in service of an idea. They don't need to have started in any one discipline; what matters is that they've built a practice of experimentation and can't help but tinker across formats. This person brings a distinct point of view and an aesthetic sensibility that feels culturally current. They're plugged into fashion, culture, and social content, and that shows up in how they make things; not just what they're asked to make. Brand experience is important, but what we're really looking for is evidence of independent craft and taste: passion projects, personal collage work, self-directed photography or video, or work made outside the constraints of brand guidelines that shows how far they're willing to push an idea. That said, you must have big brand experience in your portfolio and social first work in your portfolio.

Requirements

  • A multidisciplinary creative background — could be design, motion, photography, editing, or collage — with demonstrated range across at least a few of these that is included in your portfolio or you have provided other examples of your work when you apply
  • A portfolio that reflects a genuine multi-hyphenate practice: not just polished brand deliverables, but personal or experimental work (collage, photography, BTS content, passion projects) that shows independent taste and craft
  • A strong, culturally relevant point of view — someone whose work reads as socially and culturally plugged-in, not just technically proficient
  • In-house or brand-side experience is valued, but candidates should show creative range beyond brand-safe production work (e.g., product demos alone are not enough)
  • Comfort working within brand guidelines while still bringing an experimental, boundary-pushing sensibility to the work
  • Portfolio must clearly evoke social-first content — work made to be engaging and enticing in a social context, not just campaign or print-first execution
  • Must reside in NY or LA this is geo specific.

Responsibilities

  • Create social-first content across formats — motion graphics, photography, video editing, and collage (digital and print) — often within a single project
  • Bring a distinct, culturally-aware point of view to creative work, helping push ideas beyond conventional brand execution
  • Move between disciplines fluidly depending on what an idea needs, rather than working in a single fixed craft lane
  • Experiment with technique and format, contributing a personal creative sensibility to team output
  • Collaborate with designers, producers, and creative leads to develop concepts that feel enticing, engaging, and social-native
  • Adapt personal craft and style to work within the client's brand system while still elevating the creative bar

  • Paid Holidays
