Multi Skilled Technician
About The Position
7-Eleven is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician I to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring store equipment and facilities are in good working order. The technician will respond to service requests for repairs to in-store equipment such as beverage and food equipment, ice makers, and fuel dispensers. They will also handle issues related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance. The role involves managing parts inventory, completing daily reports, and potentially training other technicians. This position plays a vital role in ensuring customer convenience and supporting the communities served by 7-Eleven.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years in general repairs and maintenance
- Valid Driver’s License
- Skills: Show leadership, peer-to-peer tech support, effective communication, handle stretch assignments, facility location ownership, and time management
Responsibilities
- Respond to service requests for minor repairs to a wide variety of in-store equipment (such as beverage & food equipment, ice makers, & fuel dispensers)
- Handle orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
- Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency
- Perform additional duties including training other level I technicians, prioritizing work, and basic maintenance on structures
