About The Position

This position is responsible for utilizing knowledge of wiring schematics, electrical inspection procedures, electrician tools, and safety codes and regulations to design and deploy electrical solutions across environments and applications. The role involves expertise in electrical cabinet architecture, implementing and monitoring controls for machine and component fabrication, and leading inspection activities for electrical systems. The technician will oversee the maintenance of all electrical equipment, consult on electrician services, and repair, maintain, and diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial setting. This role requires extensive experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals, as well as the ability to interpret functional and technical blueprints and maintain technical drawings and specifications. The technician will also translate process flow diagrams and equipment technical drawings, inspect critical equipment for compliance, and perform routine installation and maintenance tasks onsite. Additionally, the role involves leading and participating in teams, developing and implementing processes to meet business needs, and promoting compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • 5 years of experience repairing/maintaining/diagnosing mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in an Applied Technology field (for example, electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial maintenance, industrial technologies).
  • Industrial Maintenance Certification.
  • OSHA 10 Certification.
  • Repairing/maintaining optical, pharmaceutical, mechanical, or electrical equipment in an industrial setting and working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and deploys electrical solutions across environments and applications leveraging significant experience with various electrical systems and projects.
  • Demonstrates expertise in electrical cabinet architecture to effectively develop and build cabinet systems.
  • Implements and monitors controls to ensure the quality of machine and component fabrication and design.
  • Leads inspection activities for electrical systems, predicts quality inspection trends, and recommends updates to maintain system efficiency.
  • Oversees the maintenance of all electrical equipment, consults on electrician services in various environments, and establishes norms, standards, and guidelines for electrical services.
  • Repairs, maintains, and diagnoses mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial setting using advanced skills.
  • Utilizes extensive experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Interprets functional and technical blueprints and participates in structuring technical components.
  • Maintains and updates technical drawings and specifications throughout the equipment maintenance process.
  • Translates process flow diagrams and equipment technical drawings and inspects critical equipment to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and designs.
  • Performs routine installation and maintenance tasks onsite by following technical drawings and specifications and utilizing knowledge of common drafting tools, procedures, processes, blueprints, and technical drawing specifications.
