About The Position

The Multi-Skill Operator is responsible for operating designated central facilities, including monitoring and optimizing production and cost. The position is based in Kenedy, Texas, and candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within a 40-mile driving radius. This is a safety-sensitive position. The role involves safely operating central facilities in normal and emergency conditions, monitoring facility performance, maintaining equipment and chemical injection operations, and coordinating with Eagle Ford Operations teams and third-party hauling partners. Work is performed in field and facility environments and may include exposure to harsh weather, noise, heights, confined spaces, and energized electrical equipment. Personal protective equipment and strict adherence to safety protocols are required. The role includes weekend work and on-call duties. Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the United States; employment authorization sponsorship is not available.
Current and valid driver's license.
At least 3 years of experience in unconventional field operations.
Basic understanding of gas compression principles and practices.
Basic understanding of dehydration principles and practices.
Basic understanding of gas and liquid measurement.
Basic knowledge of mechanics and instrumentation.
Currently reside or be willing to relocate within a 40-mile driving radius of Kenedy, Texas.
Willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to travel 5% of the time annually.
Willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to work in temperature extremes or adverse weather; wear appropriate safety equipment; walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull; use hand tools for minor repairs; and work weekends and be on call.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree, trade certificate, or higher in Production Technology, Process Technology, another related technical field, or foreign equivalent.
At least 5 years of direct experience with oil and gas production practices, equipment, and terminology.
At least 1 year of direct experience with dehydration, compression, and VRU operations.
At least 3 years of experience with blowcase equipment.
Intermediate proficiency in PSSR and MOC processes.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word.
Commitment to safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to prepare accurate and legible reports.
Interest in training and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

Follow ConocoPhillips Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE), OSHA, and Process Safety Management (PSM) rules.
Start up and shut down central facilities under normal and emergency conditions.
Troubleshoot operational problems and perform housekeeping and record keeping.
Monitor central facility performance data through Cygnet and Wonderware.
Gauge tanks to compare and verify level-indication readings in the control room.
Maintain chemical injection rates as necessary.
Work with groups within Eagle Ford Operations and third-party truck-hauling partners.
Support handover processes and pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR) and commissioning of new equipment and facilities as needed.
Assist with enforcing proper policies and procedures.
Operate a company-provided vehicle to perform job duties.
Work weekends and be on call.
