About The Position

Marquette is seeking a Chicago, Illinois-based Multi-Site Property Manager to lead, mentor, and develop teams across two or more residential properties. This strategic, hands-on role aligns on-site operations with company objectives and partners with ownership and corporate leadership to deliver strong resident experiences, enhance asset value, and achieve financial returns. The role oversees portfolio leadership and staffing, financial and operational performance, owner and corporate relations, property standards and resident experience, capital projects, marketing and rent growth, and portfolio-level innovation and strategy. The manager conducts property visits, reports to ownership and leadership, collaborates with corporate departments, and participates in regional and leadership events.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and coach teams; foster employee growth and succession planning.
Conduct portfolio-level staff meetings and encourage collaboration across sites.
Oversee hiring, staffing structures, and performance management across multiple properties.
Manage budgets, net operating income optimization, expense control, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
Deliver monthly and quarterly financial and operational reports to ownership and leadership.
Monitor portfolio occupancy, leasing, and renewal performance.
Lead strategic portfolio planning and performance benchmarking.
Prepare owner-required reporting and participate in regular owner calls.
Serve as a liaison among on-site teams, ownership, and corporate leadership.
Collaborate with HR, Marketing, Accounting, Facilities, and IT to support site operations.
Conduct regular property visits to assess performance, resident experience, and operational consistency.
Ensure compliance with systems, standardization, and operational efficiency across assigned properties.
Maintain curb appeal, maintenance standards, and brand consistency.
Oversee capital planning, project execution, and return-on-investment tracking.
Support portfolio marketing initiatives and rent growth strategies.
Promote innovation and process improvement to optimize results.
Develop and monitor portfolio-level KPIs and strategic initiatives.
Attend regional Property Manager meetings and participate in Leadership Community events.
