About The Position

Bernstein Management Corporation (BMC) is seeking a polished, outgoing, and people-focused Multi-Site Leasing Associate with a strong attention to detail to join their Residential team. This role will guide the leasing strategy for the Residential Centralized Leasing Center, which covers leasing activity for multiple properties within BMC's DC portfolio. The position requires travel to nearby properties as needed. BMC provides comprehensive training, periodic performance reviews, and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior leasing or customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Yelp, etc.
  • Experience with Yardi, property management accounting system.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with prospective residents and present available apartments that best fit their desires and budget.
  • Present apartments, amenities and overall community to prospective residents using the team's established tour path.
  • Answer inquiries from prospective residents; use standard sales techniques to encourage a visit to your community. Ensure prospect data is entered in a timely manner to comply with Fair Housing laws.
  • Utilize standard sales closing methods to sell the prospective resident on available units.
  • Greet prospective residents professionally and build a rapport with them.
  • Complete prospect follow-up in accordance with Bernstein's follow-up expectations and record such activities in property management system for compliance with Fair Housing laws.
  • Assist assigned communities in gathering information from prospective residents after they have indicated a desire to move to the property.
  • Assist assigned communities with completing market surveys, which will include gathering current occupancy, rental rates and concessions.
  • Proactively partner with the team and marketing department on efforts to promote properties.
  • Enjoy frequent opportunities to earn performance-based bonus incentives throughout the year.
  • Be available to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some holidays as required.
  • Maintain a positive and professional customer service attitude.
  • Update the daily and weekly rental reports.
  • Attend periodic training seminars for leasing consultants to improve marketing and sales techniques.
  • Answer office phone and greet visitors.
  • Maintain excellent attendance to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Perform other duties as trained for and qualified to do.
