About The Position

The Produce Clerk provides fast, friendly customer service in the produce department by answering questions and helping customers find requested produce items. The clerk prepares items for display, keeps display cases adequately stocked and products fresh, and ensures the department is clean and neat. Produce must be handled in a safe, sanitary manner.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, and bend continuously.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to widely varying temperatures.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Strong team-player skills and willingness and desire to learn and work hard.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
