About The Position

A Multi-Modality Technologist will perform imaging procedures while adhering to established guidelines and assisting in the training of new technologists. They will work under the supervision of the modality supervisory technologist and modality medical director. This role performs all technical procedures within their respective modality sections as described in the Radiology Policy Manual and meets the technical competency requirements for the position.

Requirements

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with all levels of the organization.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Training in AMA approved school and meets requirements for registry by the ARRT.
  • 1 year CT experience preferred (hospital experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with HIS, RIS and PACS systems.
  • American Heart Association/American Red Cross BLS Certification.
  • Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) and Florida Department of Health X-Ray License.
  • Current CT Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

  • 1 year CT experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging procedures while adhering to established guidelines.
  • Assist in the training of new technologists.
  • Work under the supervision of the modality supervisory technologist and modality medical director.
  • Perform all technical procedures within their respective modality sections as described in the Radiology Policy Manual.
  • Meet the technical competency requirements for the position.
  • Work as needed in two (2) or more of the modalities: Angiography, Cardiac Catheterization lab, Computed Tomography, Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Radiography, Ultrasound, Vascular Sonography, and Breast Sonography.
