The primary responsibility of a multi-modality technologist is to perform any two combinations of procedures with related techniques, producing images for interpretation by, and at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner. This role involves operating equipment, understanding workflows, and applying safety principles specific to the modalities. The technologist will obtain patient clinical history, apply radiation protection, verify patient identification, and may perform venipuncture, administer medications/contrast, and use a power injector when required by the modalities. The position also includes on-call responsibilities and may require travel to various RSFH department locations.
