About The Position

Multi-Modality Radiologist Techs are responsible for ensuring both patient safety and comfort during examinations. They are responsible to the Executive Director of Imaging Services and the Imaging Supervisor. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Applicants must fill out the application entirely to be considered for the interview process.

Requirements

• Completion of a C.A.H.E.A. approved Radiologic Technology program with an Associate Degree or a 2-year certificate in radiology.
• ARRT registered or registry eligible (registry eligible candidates must take and pass the test within one year of first employment).
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as an MRT in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Successful completion of a Background Check, Lab Work, and Immunization Records.
• Ability to talk to patients and/or staff.
• Ability to hear patients and/or alarms.
• Ability to distinguish colors.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Maintaining ARRT and MRT registries, including required CME.
• Performing tasks that may involve bloodborne exposure.
