About The Position

Multi-Modality MRI Radiologist Techs are responsible for ensuring both patient safety and comfort during examinations. MRI Technologists are responsible for coordinating and performing MRI scans for diagnostic purposes and for providing patient services using applicable modalities. The tech is also responsible for all safety measures related to the MRI suite. This position performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to create three-dimensional images of tissue, organs, and other body parts that are used by radiologists to detect abnormalities, make diagnoses, and treat patients.

Requirements

  • Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible.
  • Registry eligible candidates may be conditionally employed as long as the test is taken and passed within one year within the first year of employment.
  • Must be a MRT in good standing licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Must obtain and maintain current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • Must obtain and maintain ARRT and MRT registries, to include required CME.
