As the Med Imaging Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting technologists by preparing exam rooms, calling back and changing patients before exams, and performing IVs. You will also assist with patient care coordination, including scheduling appointments, handling lab specimens, and retrieving prior imaging. Schedule: Monday through Thursday 6:30AM to 5:00PM Location: Banner Imaging (1125 S Alma School Rd, Suite 110) Medical imaging plays a pivotal role in the delivery of excellent patient care at Banner Health. POSITION SUMMARY This position demonstrates advanced Medical Imaging Assistant knowledge within multiple departments. This position is responsible for assisting clinicians, technologists and nursing staff by performing non-technical, patient and procedure-related duties and providing medical care, as well as, implementing and evaluating direct patient care. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment and skills to provide an excellent patient experience for an assigned patient care area which promote an organized, efficient delivery of care to patients.
