About The Position

The Multi-Functional Supervisor leads daily operations on the manufacturing floor for the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) program in Huntsville, AL. This role ensures team performance aligns with key metrics for safety, quality, cost, and schedule while fostering a continuous improvement mindset. Lockheed Martin Space develops advanced space and missile defense systems that protect national security. This role directly supports the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon program, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and timely solutions for our customers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and related systems.
Experience managing cost, quality, and schedule metrics in a manufacturing production or operational environment.
Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing or defense setting.
Supervisory or leadership experience managing teams.
Strong understanding of cost, quality, and schedule management.
Ability to maintain positive employee relations.

Responsibilities

Facilitate a 6:00 AM morning stand-up meeting to align priorities and progress.
Lead a team of technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, materials, facilities, program management, and safety teams to meet production objectives.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Oversee employee development, including training, performance assessment, and work assignments.
Manage team performance, recognize achievements, and address performance concerns.
