About The Position

Allied Property Management is seeking an experienced Multi-Family Property Manager for our growing company. The Property Manager will collaborate with the Regional Manager to develop a strong on-site team and positively impact residents' lives. The position is responsible for all property operations to ensure a quality living environment for residents, a positive team atmosphere, and a stable return on investment for owners/investors.

Requirements

  • 2 years of Multi-family Property Management Experience
  • Financial management and collections experience
  • Available to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow Fair Housing practices and regulations.
  • Train, interview, hire, coach, and manage employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate payroll records and adhere to payroll policies.
  • Maintain high levels of occupancy by assisting with leasing, processing leases, and related forms.
  • Assist in the collection of rents and handle delinquency matters.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions for the property.
  • Adhere to all appropriate accounting policies.
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and purchase necessary office supplies.
  • Supervise outside contractors working on the property.
  • Handle all details for move-ins and move-outs, including apartment inspection check-ins and check-outs.
  • Ensure residents are provided with a clean, well-maintained community.
  • Work within the budget and notify the Regional Property Manager of any possible variations.
  • Resolve resident complaints.
  • Report accident and emergency situations to the Regional Property Manager immediately and prepare proper reports.
  • Ensure that all maintenance requests are resolved within 24 hours, if possible, and notify residents of any unavoidable delays.
  • Continually inspect property and improvements, recording deficiencies and taking necessary action within budgetary allocations.
  • Establish schedules and assign personnel for routine maintenance, emergency coverage, office coverage, and resident assistance.
  • Assist the marketing leader with all aspects of marketing the apartment community.
  • Work directly with the Regional Property Manager in preparing the annual operating budget for the property.
  • Maintain courteous and continuous communication with employees, residents, applicants, and vendors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, planning, directing work, appraising performance, and rewarding, coaching, and counseling employees.
