Multi-Facility Receiving and Materials Manager

Frontier Door & CabinetTacoma, WA
$95,000 - $100,000Onsite

About The Position

Frontier Door & Cabinet is looking for an experienced, hands-on leader to run receiving, warehousing, and material flow across two Tacoma facilities — Steele Street and Warehouse B. This is a working manager role: you'll spend most of your week on the floor, not behind a desk, directing a team of about 11 people, solving problems in real time, and making sure the right materials get to the right place at the right time. You'll oversee everything coming in — cabinets, doors, hardware, millwork, and production materials — and make sure it's received accurately, stored properly, and transferred on schedule to support production, deliveries, and installation crews. If you like being in the middle of the action, know (or want to deeply learn) building materials, and are ready to own the performance of a two-site operation, this is built for you.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in receiving, warehousing, building materials, millwork, or manufacturing/distribution
  • Strong working knowledge of doors, cabinets, hardware, and millwork — or the ability to learn product detail quickly (general warehouse experience alone won't be enough here)
  • Comfort using inventory or warehouse-management systems
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to make fast, practical calls
  • A valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed for required travel between our two sites, five miles apart)
  • Physical readiness for warehouse work, including lifting 50–60 lbs and being on your feet for extended periods

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations across both facilities, spending the majority of your time on the receiving and warehouse floors
  • Set daily priorities based on incoming deliveries, production needs, and job-site schedules
  • Ensure incoming materials are counted, inspected, and matched accurately against purchase orders and shipping documents
  • Coordinate accurate, on-time transfers between Warehouse B and Steele Street
  • Manage, coach, train, and develop your team — including scheduling, attendance, and performance
  • Partner closely with production, purchasing, delivery, and installation teams to keep jobs on track
  • Maintain safe, organized, well-run facilities

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement plan with company match
  • Paid vacation/PTO, sick leave, and holidays
  • Mileage reimbursement for required inter-facility travel
