The Multi-Facility Food & Nutrition Director is responsible for the overall management of Food & Nutrition Services Department in multiple facilities and/or multiple departments within a region including, administrative, financial, compliance, quality improvement, technical, and personnel activities in accordance with established hospital and department policies and standards. Delegates responsibility for full time daily management of operations to a qualified individual at each site and provides guidance. Ensures the efficiency of food prepared in the department taking into consideration food safety, nutritional adequacy and appropriate patient nutritional care responsible for the development and enforcement of policies and procedures that direct clinical services, food preparation, distribution and service, purchasing, sanitation, safety practices, performance improvement, and staff education and development.
