About The Position

This role involves working in Reagents areas, manufacturing Matrigel using well-defined processes. The technician will be responsible for making buffers, setting up production runs, and interacting with Quality Assurance to identify non-conformance issues. Manufacturing processes include centrifugation, buffer extractions, filtration, and dialysis methods. The role also requires using an ERP system for production transactions. The working environment includes clean rooms, general labs, and cold rooms with temperatures ranging from 2 to -20 degrees Celsius, requiring specific PPE. The position involves frequently lifting and/or moving material and/or objects up to 50 pounds and may involve handling hazardous materials in a controlled environment.

Requirements

High School diploma or higher.
1-3 years' experience preferable in Biotechnology and or working in a laboratory or life sciences environment.
Willing to work as a team player.
Open to cross training and becoming multi-skilled.
Lab experience working with lab equipment and tools.
Able to take direction and work on production requirements as needed. (After training)
