About The Position

The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team of passionate professionals as the Multi Department Program Director. This role will oversee the success of the Twin Lakes Family YMCA Sport Department, Academy Sports, and support Facility Sport program enrollment. Under the direction of the Twin Lakes Family YMCA Associate Director, the Multi Department Program Director will oversee the success of the Twin Lakes Family YMCA Sport Department, Academy Sports, and support Facility Sport program enrollment. The ideal candidate, with direct reports, will be responsible in the following areas: Sports Programming Growth – Increase participation in facility sports programming from 3,950 participants in 2026 to 4,175 participants by 2028. Academy Sports Growth – Expand academy sports participation with travel team development goals by 2027. Facility Sports Support – Support gymnastics programming enrollment and seasonal program operations.

Requirements

• Highly motivated, organized, personable, enthusiastic displaying leadership abilities.
• Five or more years of experience in supervising or directing programs as a program and/or center director preferred
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Prefer a bachelor's degree in business management, a related field or equivalent experience
• YMCA Team Leader or Multi-Team/Branch Leader certification preferred
• Are adaptable, flexible, and enjoy variety in your work environment including periodic weekends and non-business hour workdays

Responsibilities

• Program operations
• Program Development and supervision
• Staff supervision, hiring, training, coaching and ensuring safe operations
• Working with Core Groups to determine best practices and ensure standards are met
• Facility sports programming to engage families
• Balanced budget and managing planned/forecasted growth in program departments
• Staff training and development
• Program development and growth
• Serve as a leader in the Annual Giving campaign and other fundraising initiatives
• Implement character development and the YMCA core values in all programs and all aspects of Center operations
