About The Position

Our Client, a leading Manufacturing / Mechanical organization, seeks a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support 24/7 manufacturing operations in Graniteville, SC. This facility operates continuously, and candidates will be assigned either day or rotating shifts. Candidates will become subject matter experts in a specific production department, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment quickly to maximize production uptime, and maintain flexibility to support a wide range of maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Multi-craft experience in Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics
  • PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
  • Ability to be extremely flexible to support a wide range of maintenance activities
  • Open to both day and rotating shift assignments in a 24/7 operating facility
  • Associates degree in Electronics, General Technology, Robotics, or related field with at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program with at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience

Responsibilities

  • Be safe and comply with all safety regulations
  • Partner with the Engineering team to install, test, and release equipment
  • Record maintenance activities in a CMMS
  • Maintain equipment for industrial production, industrial processing, pipeline distribution systems, and conveyors
  • Troubleshoot and repair various PLCs
  • Support networking and communications systems: EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet
  • Troubleshoot AC drives, motors, encoders, and resolvers
  • Calibrate flow, level, pressure, and temperature devices and loops
  • Work with bearings, conveying systems, gearboxes, equipment rebuilds, and repairs
  • Maintain familiarity with automation and distributed control system architectures within manufacturing and processing systems
  • Service hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and rotating equipment
  • Read and use blueprints, schematics, manuals, technical drawings, work orders, test results, and machine error messages
  • Inspect parts for damage and wear
  • Test and observe running machinery
  • Operate hoists, lifts, grinders, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing equipment
  • Perform periodic scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on all manufacturing equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
