We are seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our client's manufacturing facility in Graniteville, SC. This permanent, onsite position plays a critical role in maintaining production equipment and ensuring optimal facility operations. The successful candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple mechanical disciplines while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent safety awareness and adherence to protocols
- Ability to work onsite full-time and adapt to shift schedules as needed
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing facility environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Certification in maintenance trades or technical training
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Experience in the tire manufacturing or rubber processing industry
- Electrical maintenance knowledge
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Conduct routine inspections and equipment diagnostics
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime
- Follow all safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements
