About The Position

Booz Allen is hiring a senior back-end developer to contribute software engineering expertise to client solutions. The role involves identifying potential risks, contributing to solution development, and creating efficient, effective systems. The developer will use modern architectural approaches, open-source frameworks, and tools to build custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability, working with a development team in secure government cloud environments.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience building software solutions for implementation within secure government cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.
At least 5 years of experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
At least 5 years of experience with configuration management using Git in a team setting.
Experience designing and automating the provisioning of cloud resources and IaC tools.
Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes.
Knowledge of network technologies, including routing, load balancing, and TLS.
Top Secret clearance.
High school diploma or GED and at least 8 years of software engineering experience, or a bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of software engineering experience.
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Experience using Bazel.
Experience with Golang programming.
Experience with Kubernetes operator patterns and design, including creating controllers and custom resource definitions (CRDs).
Experience with Terragrunt.
Experience with CNCF projects such as Envoy, Fluentd, Flux, and Prometheus.
Experience assisting with implementing and developing Azure policies or AWS Service Control policies.
TS/SCI clearance.
