We’re looking for an experienced back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients. As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. Using your software engineering experience, you’ll work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building software solutions for implementation within secure government cloud environments, including with Microsoft Azure and AWS
  • 3+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
  • Experience designing and automating the provisioning of cloud resources and Infrastructure-as-Code tools
  • Experience with Platform as a Service technologies
  • Experience assisting with implementing and developing Azure policies
  • Experience with code management tools such as Git or GitLab, in a team setting
  • Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with software engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with software engineering
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire date

Nice To Haves

  • Experience deploying and working with Azure Landing Zones
  • Experience provisioning cloud infrastructure and implementing orchestration using Crossplane
  • Experience with Azure Sentinel, Microsoft security, Azure services, Azure Monitor, log analytics, and cloud networking
  • Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes
  • Experience deploying and managing Azure Virtual Desktop using Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces, including Bash
  • Experience configuring Windows clients and servers, including Active Directory or Group Policies
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Azure Architect Expert Certification
