About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Multi Cloud Architect with expertise in GCP and Azure, and ideally AWS. The role involves participating in and contributing to cloud architecture for cloud-based applications, providing leadership and expertise in GCP infrastructure and applications, and demonstrating thought leadership in cloud computing. The architect will develop technical road-maps, ensure security is integrated into all solutions, and develop Proofs of Concept (PoC) or Proofs of Value (PoV) as needed. This position acts as a subject-matter expert for GCP within the organization, defining technology standards and future states for Cloud Services, including creating and maintaining guidelines, reference architectures, and guiding principles. The role also involves researching and justifying technological improvements, cooperating with enterprise architecture for overall fit and integration, and standardizing automation capabilities. The architect will be the decision owner for architectural decisions related to GCP, identifying necessary decisions, advising management, and communicating decisions and their impacts to stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes creating and supervising designs within DevOps teams and projects/programs, assisting with application team intakes to improve automation, creating solution designs with application teams, reviewing and approving technical solutions for compliance, and ensuring implementation aligns with design. Maintenance of design documents within the domain is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

GCP Infra and application architecture
Ability to create solution design together with the application team which has the best fit for their application with the current provided services
Solution experience in both GCP and Azure as a minimum.
AWS experience will be a plus.
Proven track record in road mapping, technical architecture design, solution definition, project management/execution, change/risk management

Responsibilities

Participate and contribute in Cloud Architecture for cloud based applications.
Provide expertise and leadership regarding Cloud Architecture for both infrastructure and applications in GCP.
Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing across multiple streams (cloud native).
Develops technical road-maps for future GCP cloud implementations.
Ensures security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.
Develop PoC/PoV as and when required.
Acts as a subject-matter expert around GCP for ASML.
Define technology standards and future state for Cloud Services.
Creation and maintenance of guidelines, reference architectures, guiding principles and solution building blocks.
Creation and maintenance of technology roadmaps for automation and programmable infrastructure.
Research, cost-justify and drive technological improvements through position papers.
Cooperate with enterprise architecture to assure overall fit & integration and define target architectures.
Standardize automation capabilities and create automation best practices.
Decision owner for architectural decisions for GCP.
Identifying the decisions to be taken about the solution.
Advise management to support the decision making process.
Communicating the decisions and their impact to stakeholders.
Create and supervise design within the DevOps teams and projects/programs.
Assist with application team intakes regarding improving their automation capabilities.
Create solution design together with the application team which has the best fit for their application with the current provided services.
Review and/or approve technical solutions – assurance of compliance with directives, standards and guidel ines.
Ensure that the implementation is in line with design.
Maintenance of design documents within the domain.
