About The Position

Veritas Automata is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Engineer to support a pharmaceutical client’s scientific data and sample-management integrations. The engineer will design, build, and maintain integrations that reliably move critical scientific and operational data between laboratory, sample-management, and enterprise systems. The role emphasizes clean integration design, thorough testing, and production-ready flows. The engineer will work directly with client stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3 to 10 years of software or integration engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange.
• Strong proficiency in DataWeave for data transformation and mapping.
• Proven experience building, testing, and deploying APIs and integration flows in production environments.
• Solid understanding of error-handling patterns, retry strategies, and integration monitoring.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, API-led connectivity, and common integration patterns.
• Familiarity with RAML or OpenAPI specifications.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with client stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other life sciences environments.
• Experience working with GxP or validated systems, including documentation and change-control expectations.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect credential.
• Experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid deployment models.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
