About The Position

The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for an anticipated MTSS Interventionist at Park Forest Middle School. The ability to establish relationships with students and collaborate with colleagues is critical to success in this position. The MTSS Interventionist will utilize multiple sources of student data to identify academic needs and provide targeted interventions in mathematics and English Language Arts. The successful candidate will collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, administrators, and support staff to analyze student performance data, monitor progress, adjust interventions, and support students who require additional academic assistance through the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. The District seeks dynamic, energetic educators who are student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of various learners. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in this position. Requirements

  • Possession of PA Math (6-8) certification.
  • Possession of PA English (6-8) certification.
