Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
  • Hardware verification
  • Physical design of deep submicron digital ASIC chips
  • ASIC design tools (synthesis, simulation, equivalence checking, static timing analysis)
  • Back-end (physical design) EDA tools
  • Front-end EDA tools
  • TCL and Python
  • Software debugging (macOS, Linux, or Unix)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, verify, and create documentation for ASIC development.
  • Determine architecture design, logic design and system simulation.
  • Define module interfaces/formats for simulation.
  • Contribute to the development of multi-dimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.
  • Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route and timing and power use.
  • Analyze equipment to establish operation data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
  • Review vendor capability to support development.
  • Utilize knowledge of or wide-ranging experience with computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, design techniques, tools, and principles to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various company products.
