MT/MLT/Laboratory Scientist: 40 Hours Per Week (AM)
About The Position
This individual is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results. The testing performed will include waived, moderate, and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director. The individual will report results of all tests performed according to established procedures. Additionally, this role involves full participation in all quality control procedures and compliance with quality assurance and quality management standards as outlined by the department, JCAHO, CAP, CLIA, and other applicable agencies. Specimen collection will also be performed as necessary.
Requirements
- MLT: Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
- MT: Bachelor degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university
- Bachelor degree in chemical, physical or biological sciences
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred
