About The Position

Lawrence County Memorial Hospital (LCMH) is seeking a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a full-time evening shift position. The shift hours are from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with rotation every 4th weekend and holiday. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent patient service within a hospital setting. The selected candidate will be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or 60 semester hours from an accredited university including biology and chemistry and lab experience.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Nice To Haves

• MT Certification or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on all types of blood and bodily fluid specimens under minimal supervision.
• Ensures accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict QC program.
• Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures according to policies and procedures.
• Maintains record and statistical data according to regulatory requirements.
