About The Position

Behavioral / Mental Health Therapist (MST) Location: Sandoval County & Albuquerque, New Mexico (Albuquerque Rio Rancho Bernalillo Placitas Corrales Jemez Springs Cochiti Lake Santa Ana Pueblo Algodones San Ysidro Ponderosa San Luis Surrounding Communities) Live in Albuquerque? Awesome. Your commute just might include mountain views, pueblo communities, small towns, and neighborhoods where you'll make a real difference every single day. Therapy Shouldn't Feel Like a Cubicle Job. Because honestly... Life doesn't happen in an office. It happens: around kitchen tables during school drop-offs on front porches in living rooms in community parks and occasionally during a full-blown teenage meltdown about homework, curfews, or TikTok drama. If you're the kind of therapist who believes real healing happens in real life not just inside four office walls keep reading. We're looking for a minimum Master's level therapist who is compassionate, adaptable, energetic, and maybe just a little adventurous to work with youth and families across Sandoval County and Albuquerque. This isn't "sit in an office and nod politely" therapy. This is: relationship-building problem-solving community-based support crisis navigation teamwork laughter hard conversations and seeing families succeed right in front of you And honestly? That's exactly why people love this work. What Your Days Might Actually Look Like One morning you could be: helping a teen in Rio Rancho improve school attendance By lunch: collaborating with a school counselor in Bernalillo And later that afternoon: sitting at a kitchen table in Albuquerque helping a family finally communicate without yelling over each other. No two days are exactly the same. And that's the magic of it.
