About The Position
As an MSPL Provider Engagement Intern at McKesson, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our business operations through data analysis and strategic insights. You will work closely with various departments and report directly to the Associate Vice President , MSPL Provider & Member Engagement. Intern Program Details: · Paid Internship · Full time / 10 weeks · Position will be based out of our Irving, TX location · The internship program provides networking, access to executives, structured performance & coaching · Experiential learning and training provided by exposure to subject matter experts Your contributions will aid in driving informed decision-making processes and optimizing customer purchasing strategies.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Pharmacoeconomics or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deliver error-free reports on deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing and interpreting volume-based and performance-based medication contracts to support customer purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand probability of maximizing contract economics.
- Help develop, maintain, and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to stakeholders.
- Support project management tasks, including documentation and progress tracking.
- Present competitive intelligence information as it relates a specific business landscape.
- Assist in the implementation of business plans and strategies.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals.
