About The Position

As an MSPL Provider Engagement Intern at McKesson, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our business operations through data analysis and strategic insights. You will work closely with various departments and report directly to the Associate Vice President, MSPL Provider & Member Engagement. The internship program provides networking, access to executives, structured performance & coaching, and experiential learning and training provided by exposure to subject matter experts. Your contributions will aid in driving informed decision-making processes and optimizing customer purchasing strategies.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Pharmacoeconomics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Solid organizational and time management skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to deliver error-free reports on deadlines.
• Must be proficient in spoken and written English.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing and interpreting volume-based and performance-based medication contracts to support customer purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand probability of maximizing contract economics.
• Help develop, maintain, and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to stakeholders.
• Support project management tasks, including documentation and progress tracking.
• Present competitive intelligence information as it relates to a specific business landscape.
• Assist in the implementation of business plans and strategies.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals.
