About The Position

The MSO Strategy Development Lead will lead the strategic development and execution of a transformational technology roadmap supporting the MSO/IPA business. This role is accountable for shaping and managing the full MSO technology stack—optimizing existing platforms while evaluating new build vs. buy opportunities—to enable scalable growth, clinical excellence, and success in value-based care models. This role will partner closely with Technology, Product, Clinical, Operations, and external vendors to prioritize initiatives, develop business cases, and drive end-to-end execution from concept through measurable impact. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong execution and organizational skills, deep business acumen, and a self-starter mindset that works well with ambiguity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, product management, or operations leadership
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and conducting ROI analysis
  • Collaborative leader with excellent communication skills, skilled at influencing and aligning cross-functional teams
  • Execution-oriented with strong project management and organizational capabilities, and deep understanding of operational impact
  • Self-starter who is proactive, resourceful, and thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to see the big picture while managing small details

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the MSO technology strategy and multi-year roadmap, ensuring alignment with MSO business goals, enterprise technology strategy, and value-based care objectives.
  • Own evaluation of the end-to-end MSO technology stack, including existing platforms and future-state needs across operational, clinical, financial, and analytics domains.
  • Drive structured build vs. buy vs. vend evaluations, including vendor landscape assessment, solution design, and implementation approach.
  • Prioritize technology initiatives based on business impact, readiness, and strategic fit; develop business cases including cost, ROI, and operational impact.
  • Own initiative performance from concept through implementation and post-launch measurement, ensuring delivery of expected business outcomes.
  • Partner with internal Technology, Product, Clinical, Operations, and Analytics etc. teams to ensure seamless delivery, adoption, and scaling of solutions.
  • Provide business leadership for internal build teams and external vendors to deliver technology initiatives on time and within scope.
  • Serve as a key advisor to MSO leaders on technology-enabled transformation opportunities.
  • Build practice-facing and associate-facing enablement and support models (e.g., workflows, governance, training inputs, change management considerations) to drive successful adoption of technology solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on MSO/IPA technology needs, provider network operations, and technology implications of value-based care models.
