About The Position

Anchor Innovation, Inc. is seeking former USN and MSC personnel with the experience and expertise to provide full-time contract instructional support for MSC Bridge Resources Management training. This role involves supporting the administration and delivery of MUTC course instruction, collaborating with MSC and ship crews for course scheduling, and coordinating travel for worldwide ship locations. The position requires an active SECRET clearance.

Requirements

10+ years MSC or Navy operations expertise.
US Navy Officer (O-5 and above with Command) or Navy SWO qualified (O-4 and above surface command preferred) with Officer of the Deck qualification and 2-years experience with deep draft ship, including conning alongside; or, Recent senior MSC or Merchant Marine Unlimited Deck License, Master (at least 1 year), or Chief Mate (2 years) (Master Unlimited/Oceans preferred) including conning alongside.
Active SECRET Clearance (eligible)
Experience Training in a military/civilian environment
Knowledge of curriculum design, development and requirements
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Must be proficient in MS Office products, Adobe and mobile devices

Nice To Haves

Navy Instructor or USCG Train the Trainer course completion (desired)

Responsibilities

Deliver MSC courses of instruction.
Collaborate with MSC and ship crew for course scheduling.
