MS Cheerleading Coach__Football
About The Position
The MS Cheerleading Coach will supervise and instruct the LMS Cheer Squads, consisting of approximately 6-12 student-athletes per season. This role involves conducting regular practices, coaching student-athletes in a positive manner, and ensuring their safety during practices and competitions. The coach will also supervise and travel with the team to all contests, and be responsible for the distribution and collection of all uniforms and equipment. Collaboration with the MS Athletic Director and the Varsity Coach for ordering uniforms and equipment is also a key responsibility. This position requires approximately 15-20 hours per week, including practices and contests, six days per week.
Requirements
- Experience in the designated sport.
- Must meet all coaching requirements as specified by the Board of Education and OHSAA, including acquiring a pupil activity permit and CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Prior coaching experience preferred.
- School van certification preferred.
