Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; aviation technical training preferred
  • 2–4 years of aviation maintenance, MRO, manufacturing, or technical repair experience
  • Solid knowledge of aircraft components, repair procedures, and technical documentation
  • Experience within FAA Part 145 or aviation maintenance environments preferred
  • Works under general supervision
  • Aircraft component repair and overhaul procedures
  • Inspection, testing, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Technical manual, blueprint, and schematic interpretation
  • FAA Part 145 and aviation regulatory compliance
  • Precision measurement and workmanship standards
  • Root cause troubleshooting and repair analysis
  • Maintenance documentation and traceability requirements
  • Safety, FOD, and quality procedures
  • Proficient Computer Skills – Microsoft Office and MRO systems
  • Excellent Communication Skills – both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Performs maintenance, repair, overhaul, inspection, and testing activities on aircraft components and aviation products within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment.
  • Independently executes routine repair tasks, troubleshoots moderately complex issues, and supports operational efficiency, quality compliance, and turnaround objectives.
  • Ensures all work is completed in accordance with approved technical data, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Accurate and compliant repair and overhaul of aircraft components
  • Timely completion of work orders supporting operational turnaround targets
  • Proper inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of aviation products
  • Accurate maintenance records and repair documentation
  • Compliance with FAA regulations, repair station procedures, and quality standards
  • Reduced rework and improved repair efficiency and workmanship quality
  • Support of operational and continuous improvement initiatives
