About The Position

T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. The Role T1 Energy is looking to hire an MRO Supervisor to lead the tracking, organization, procurement, and strategic management of equipment spare parts and raw materials within our high-volume solar module manufacturing facility. In this role, you will bridge the gap between maintenance, engineering, and corporate procurement to minimize manufacturing downtime, optimize stock levels, and build resilient vendor partnerships. Beyond managing physical stock, you will drive procurement strategy, identify and vet new suppliers, and expand inventory controls to include critical raw materials. You will be responsible for overseeing our inventory management systems, driving continuous process improvements, and managing a small inventory and stockroom team.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Main partner for corporate procurement to drive the end-to-end purchasing process; actively scout, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to secure competitive pricing, ensure material quality, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Expanded Inventory Oversight: Oversee inventory levels for both equipment spare parts and production raw materials, ensuring continuous availability to prevent costly manufacturing lines down.
  • Audit & Accuracy: Lead regular cycle-counting programs and annual physical inventory audits to ensure 100% data accuracy between physical stock and the ERP/inventory management system.
  • Process Optimization: Design, implement, and audit advanced inventory control processes and storage strategies to improve traceability, organization, and warehouse delivery speeds.
  • Data Analysis & Forecasting: Track and analyze material usage trends, vendor lead times, and stock levels to generate routine reporting and support predictive forecasting for engineering, maintenance, and finance teams.
