We’re looking for a MRO Storeroom Supervisor to join the Facilities and Engineering department. This position plays an important role in overseeing all activities to the maintenance storeroom, ensuring inventory accuracy, effective materials management, and timely support for maintenance and production teams. This role is key to keeping our plant running efficiently by ensuring spare parts, tools, and materials are stocked, organized, and available as needed to minimize downtime and support efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, and has a continuous improvement mindset.

Requirements

  • Generally, a minimum of four (4) years of experience in Facilities or Maintenance inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Generally, a minimum of two (2) years of experience leading and managing teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) parts and materials processes; food manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with CMMS and ERP systems (e.g., MP2, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with proven ability to coordinate projects and manage details effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily storeroom operations including receiving, issuing, storing, and inventorying parts and materials.
  • Oversee inventory control and accuracy through scheduled cycle counts and regular audits.
  • Manage warranty processes, including tracking, documentation, and resolution.
  • Ensure storeroom operations comply with fiduciary and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Facilities/Maintenance, Engineering, and Procurement to ensure proper stocking levels and timely replenishment; manage and optimize the use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for parts tracking and requisition.
  • Tracks, trends, and drives improvement via inventory management metrics.
  • Drive cost savings through identifying alternative suppliers, leveraging spend and negotiation.
  • Lead and support the Storeroom Coordinator, providing regular performance feedback and guidance.
  • Manage the storeroom inventory program, including training, coaching, and auditing facilities/maintenance and production team members to ensure consistent adherence to established practices.
  • Ensure storeroom cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Support capital projects and maintenance shutdowns by ensuring timely availability of required materials and evaluating parts to support new assets.
  • Participate in root cause analysis after mechanic failures, both internal and external and facilities corrective action completion.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis.
