Rotating Machinery Services Inc. is seeking a MRO Buyer/Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. The primary function of the MRO Buyer / Purchasing Coordinator is to purchase requirements needed to support shop operations. This role involves buying and routing emergency requirements to jobs same day or next day, aiding the RMS purchasing team and site project managers to ensure parts are available to support shop schedules, and attending weekly shop production meetings to coordinate purchasing actions. The position will also develop and implement shop consumable programs with suppliers, negotiate and implement VIM hardware, machine tool automated vending for cutters, and safety supplies, and drive cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, this position will monitor open orders across Engineered to order commodities, including shipments, deliveries, and schedules, to ensure dates are achieved.
