About The Position
Austin Radiological Association (ARA Diagnostic Imaging) is seeking an MRI Technologist I for a float position between its Georgetown and San Marcos locations. The technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging examinations to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner. The role includes ensuring patient safety and comfort during care and reviewing images to provide quality diagnostic imaging. The position is full-time, rotating/float, and on-site.
Requirements
- Graduate of a recognized, approved AMA Council on Education program in radiological technology.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) is required.
- Current CPR and AED certification is required.
- MR registry through the ARRT is required within six months of hire date.
Responsibilities

- Review images to provide quality diagnostic imaging.
- Float between the Georgetown and San Marcos locations.
