About The Position

Jefferson Radiology, an affiliate of Radiology Partners (RP), is seeking an MRI Technologist to join their team in the Greater Connecticut area. This role involves performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to provide excellent patient care. The technologist will operate MRI equipment and computer systems, including RIS and PACS, maintaining high quality and productivity. Jefferson Radiology, established in 1963, is the largest radiology practice group in Connecticut with ten imaging centers and affiliations with multiple regional hospitals. Requirements

  • ARRT or ARMRIT Certification, required
  • MRI Certification, required
  • CPR (BLS) Certification, required
  • 2+ years of experience in high field MRI, required
  • Must demonstrate ability to perform intravenous injections with proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent patient care by performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures as ordered by the referring physician.
  • Performs MRI exams as described in the procedure/protocol manual, consistently maintaining a high level of quality and productivity.
  • Operates MRI equipment and computer systems, including Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archival & Communication System (PACS), with proficiency.
