About The Position
Jefferson Radiology, a proud affiliate of Radiology Partners (RP), is seeking an MRI Technologist for their Wethersfield, CT location. This full-time position offers a competitive salary, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and a potential relocation bonus. Jefferson Radiology, established in 1963, is the largest radiology practice group in Connecticut with ten imaging centers and affiliations with multiple regional hospitals. The role emphasizes providing excellent patient care by performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures with high quality and productivity, operating MRI equipment and computer systems proficiently, including RIS and PACS.
Requirements
- ARRT or ARMRIT Certification, required
- MRI Certification, required
- CPR (BLS) Certification, required
- 2+ years of experience in high field MRI, required
- Must demonstrate ability to perform intravenous injections with proficiency
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care by performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures as ordered by the referring physician
- Performs MRI exams as described in the procedure/protocol manual, consistently maintaining a high level of quality and productivity
- Operates MRI equipment and computer systems, including Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archival & Communication System (PACS), with proficiency
