About The Position
Jefferson Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice, is hiring an MRI Technologist in Wethersfield, Connecticut. The technologist provides patient care by performing MRI procedures ordered by referring physicians and completes exams according to the procedure and protocol manual while maintaining quality and productivity. The role operates MRI equipment and computer systems, including the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). The position is full-time and onsite. The schedule is Monday and Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with Tuesday and Thursday off. The posting offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a $5,000 relocation bonus. The hourly compensation range is $46.00–$57.00, with final compensation dependent on factors including education, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
Requirements
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification is required.
- MRI certification is required.
- CPR (BLS) certification is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in high-field MRI is required.
- Must be able to perform intravenous injections proficiently.
