About The Position
The MRI Technologist performs MRI scans according to accepted department protocols and hospital policies and procedures. The technologist delivers care appropriate to assigned patient age groups, including infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics, and participates in related continuing education. This per-diem position is at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, with 12-hour variable shifts. Requirements
- Successful completion of a radiology program.
- National Registered Technologist – Magnetic Resonance Imaging credential upon hire, or National Certified MRI Technologist credential from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Three years of MRI technologist experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with GE or Siemens equipment.
- California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT).
