About The Position
Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Ensures patient safety and comfort during care, and reviews images to provide quality diagnostic imaging. This is a float position required to float between Georgetown and San Marcos locations.
Requirements
- Graduate of recognized, approved AMA council of Education program in radiological technology.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) is required.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- MR registry through the ARRT will be required within six months of hire date.
