About The Position

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for MRI Technologists and MRI Technologist Trainees. These roles involve performing MRI Exams, administering intravenous contrast, observing patients for adverse reactions, completing necessary paperwork, and providing quality customer service. The positions require adherence to safety standards while producing high-quality images and examinations in a fast-paced trauma center, working as part of a team with physicians and registered nurses. This recruitment is for both MRI Technologist and MRI Technologist Trainee levels, with a single application considered for both. Per Diem positions are also available, with varying hours based on departmental needs. Benefits mentioned do not apply to Per Diem positions.

Requirements

• Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Venipuncture Certification for contrast media.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• For MRI Technologist Trainee: No experience required.
• For MRI Technologist: One (1) year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist OR six (6) months of supervised (MRI) Magnetic Resonance Imaging clinical experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience performing MRI scans in a trauma center is highly desired.

• Specialty Differential: Five percent above base hourly rate for MRI Technologists who possess and maintain licenses/certifications for both MRI and CT units and are available to work in both units.
