About The Position

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in a short-term acute care Level II Trauma facility. The MRI Tech will perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with departmental and regulatory standards. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare environment with advanced imaging technology and a supportive clinical team.

Requirements

Active MRI Technologist certification/license required.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Nice To Haves

ARRT (MR) certification preferred.
Previous MRI Tech experience in an acute care or trauma setting preferred.
Strong understanding of MRI safety procedures and imaging protocols.
First-time travelers accepted.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations while ensuring safety and comfort.
Screen patients for MRI contraindications and safety concerns.
Operate MRI equipment and ensure diagnostic image quality.
Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation in the electronic medical record system.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to provide quality patient care.
Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
Assist with maintaining MRI equipment and reporting technical issues when necessary.
