About The Position
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care hospital setting. The MRI Tech will perform high-quality MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols in a fast-paced radiology environment.
Requirements
- Active MRI Technologist certification/license required.
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and imaging protocols.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Nice To Haves
- ARRT (MR) certification preferred.
- Previous acute care hospital MRI experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operate MRI equipment and monitor imaging quality for diagnostic accuracy.
- Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to provide quality patient care.
- Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Assist with maintaining imaging equipment and reporting technical issues as needed.
